•Consistently produces images of optimal diagnostic quality through proper exposure factors, patient positioning, image identification, and proper processing.
•Consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of image production, and specialized techniques required of a radiographer.
•Provides appropriate exam by evaluating requisition for exam ordered, proper provider, diagnosis, and other special notes. Provides radiologist with information pertinent to the exam.
•Consistently uses the equipment in a safe manner. Always handles equipment to prevent damage. Performs basic maintenance and/or reports unsafe/broken equipment.
•Prepares exam rooms; assures rooms are clean, neat, and stocked. Orders supplies and medications.
•Rooms patient, obtains chief complaint, vital signs, weight, temperature, medications, past medical history. Assists the provider during physical exams and procedures. Schedules tests and referrals.
•Performs various tasks and procedures as assigned and as qualified by training or instruction.
•Answers telephone and takes necessary action. Schedules services, verifies eligibility, and obtains necessary authorizations and pre-certifications. Greets patients and visitors. Obtains, enters, and updates demographic information. Processes incoming and outgoing mail, e-mails, phone messages, faxes.
•Takes payments, completes encounter and balancing process, prepares bank deposits.
•Actively participates in Joint Commission preparation and maintenance of standards and other regulatory requirements.
•Participates in monitoring and auditing projects as assigned.
•Successfully handles communications to achieve desired outcomes.
•Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of key responsibilities. Is technically adept at all facets of his/her work. Keeps abreast of trends and changes to improve quality and safety in the care of the patient.

- Previous physician office or urgent care experience preferred
- Electronic Health Record Experience required
- Graduate of an approved school in radiography
- Registered or registry eligible and state licensed in Diagnostic Radiology through ARRT
