“Innocence Stolen: Protecting Our Children Online” will explore types of internet misuse including social networking, cyber bullying, sexting and internet predators. Examine internet practices of juveniles and adults that increase vulnerabilities to negative and criminal online influences. Assess the current state of internet safety and select prevention and intervention strategies, and available internet safety resources. Nurses, physicians, social workers, teachers and anyone who works with children would find this education very helpful. This event offers CMEs for medical professionals.
