At TidalHealth, community is our core. We put people at the center of all we do because we know that the best care can only be delivered on the foundation of a strong relationship and genuine connections.
Hot on the heels of our Drive-Thru Flu Clinic, Peninsula Regional Medical Center will be at the Ocean Pines Community Center for their fourth annual Ocean Pines Health Fair on Saturday, October 5 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. All Delmarva residents are welcome to stop by and take advantage of free health screenings and information.
Presented by the Ocean Pines Association, along with Peninsula Regional Medical Center and Atlantic General Hospital, the event will feature flu vaccinations, plus a variety of screenings including stroke risk assessment, blood pressure and pulse oximetry, bone density, foot screenings, carotid artery screenings, hearing tests and cholesterol checks. Peninsula Regional Medical Center physicians will offer skin cancer screenings on board the Wagner Wellness Van, and DermaScan, a screening device that shows sun damage to the face, will also be available.
Informational displays will help visitors learn about nutrition, fitness and more, and health-related vendors will be on hand to share information and additional screenings.
